Landessportbund Brandenburg

Designed by S&P Sahlmann, Landessportbund Brandenburg in Germany delivers a modern and minimalist aesthetic in their corporate headquarters. Known as the “House of Sport”, the three-story new building is characterized by high ceilings and walls made of exposed concrete, self-supporting wooden stairs, an abundance of light, and over 4,500 m2 of Bolon flooring.

Initially, our woven vinyl collections were intended to be one floor covering among several. In the end, the construction project with its 6,000 square meters of floor space became (almost) a Bolon-only project. From the entrance area to the stairwells to all rooms such as the library, meeting, conference and exercise rooms, offices and lounges are equipped with different Bolon collections.

Bolon flooring was chosen as the flooring solution throughout the space due to its high-performance benefits, including durability, easy maintenance and design versatility.
