The new head office for NSB, the Norwegian State Railways, is designed by renowned architect office Lund+Slaatto and the first building in Norway to receive a BREEAM-NOR Excellent certification. “We were delighted to discover that BOLON complied with all the BREEAM requirements,” explains Lund + Slaatto’s Henning Klouman. “We were looking for a floor covering that could work on large surfaces of office spaces, and BOLON, with its hybrid qualities, combining aspects of both vinyl flooring and carpeting, was an interesting alternative.” The result is an airy, warm and friendly office space with an excellent view over the train tracks.
